The Regeny Fayre at The Boringdon Hall Hotel has been organised by Jon of DH Events, Plymouth. The monthly fayre has craft and art stalls one month inside the hotel, the next month it hosts a farmers market with great local producers, on the green just outside the front of the hotel.
The Boringdon hall is a fantastic location for this farmers market, with glorious sunshine on the day I visited Sunday 23rd March, this was the second of a string of fayre’s organised by DH Events at the hotel this year , there is also plenty of free parking and the Hotel can be found on Boringdon Hill, Plympton, Plymouth PL7 4DP.
You certainly will not go hungry at this event, with Street Food, Pizza’s, Fresh Coffee and lots of samples, here’s some of the traders I spoke to………..

Beanbug sell delicious organic fairtrade coffee from their trike, they attend local markets and events, they can even be seen selling coffee on the streets of Totnes!
Beanbugs trike is unique it uses solar powered energy to power it’s coffee grinder. All their coffee is organic, as are their snacks that are sourced from Clives of Ashburton, some are gluten free also. Their milk is sourced locally from Riverford and of course is organic.
You can visit Beanbug on their website www.beanbug.co.uk and on Facebook Beanbug

Pizza Buona based in Sidmouth, they make delicious pizza’s in front of your eyes, then cook them in their great woodfired oven, which incidently smells terrific when it is heating up. Pizza Buona make their own pizza bases and can cater for gluten free diets if requested. Pizza Buona will be attending many food events throughout 2014, they can also be booked for weddings and parties.
You can find Pizza Buona on the web www.pizzabuona.co.uk

The Food Dude is run by Andy and Karen, they come from Newton Abbot in Devon. They serve good honest food, sourcing their produce as locally as possible. Andy also told me that all their sausages and burgers are gluten free, sourced from a local butcher. The Food Dude is available for food events, street food, weddings, parties and corporate events.

Eggardon Ryelands are farmers from Dorset, all their animals are raised outdoors, fed a natral diet and allowed to roam the beautiful Bride Valley.
Eggardon Ryelands bring their very own meat to markets and events in the Westcountry as well as offering a delivery service. I was lucky enough to try their sausages, which by the way are also gluten free and they were delicious, I made sure I came home with a few packets! They also take credit and debit cards at events, which is a great help.
As well as their excellent meat products, they sell cheese’s from Ford Farm and Windyridge, who make some of my favourites!
